His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Energy, approved the formation of the Institute's Board of Directors from representatives of companies operating in the renewable energy sector. Eng. Majid bin Mahdi Rafaei was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors, Eng. Amer Al-Ajmi was elected Vice Chairman, and Dr. Jihad Zain Al-Abidin was appointed Executive Director of the Institute. This was followed by the addition of representatives from government agencies, companies with common interests, and related companies with the aim of expanding the scope of the link between the Institute's objectives and the beneficiaries of its services. Companies that express their desire to benefit from the Institute's services will also be added.
